LEARNING 〰️ CREATIVITY 〰️ CONNECTION 〰️
At VBS, our goal was to guide kids through daily lessons and foster a positive, encouraging atmosphere where children CAN CONNECT AND build lasting friendships.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
As part of a community service initiative, I participated in two key projects aimed at supporting local resources and residents.
Firewood Cutting for Community Members
Contributed to cutting and stacking cords of firewood for community members in need, particularly elderly residents and those physically unable to handle the task themselves. This effort provided essential heating resources for the winter months and strengthened community bonds.
Ukiah High School Library Renovation
Helped refresh & revitalize the school environment by repainting the high school library. Responsibilities included prepping surfaces, applying multiple coats of paint, and ensuring clean, detailed finishes to create a more inviting and functional space for students and staff.
CLOTHING DRIVE
WHY DO CLOTHING DRIVES MATTER?
Supports Those in Need: Provides free clothing to people who may not be able to afford new items.
Builds Community Connection: Brings people together in generosity and support, reminding everyone that they’re not alone and that their community cares.
Promotes Sustainability: Encourages reuse and reduces waste by giving clothing a second life.
Boosts Confidence & Opportunity: Clean, well-fitting clothing can help individuals feel more confident, whether they're attending school, going to a job interview, or simply interacting in daily life.
